TLC-Middle School 442 School for Innovation Stem Collaboration

Through an exciting collaboration with a local middle school, TLC will be receiving assistive technology tools, switches,  built by Middle School 442 students at their Fab Lab. A Fab Lab is a creative maker space at MS 442 where students learn how to use woodshop and metalworking tools. Therapists at TLC will use these tools to address early communication skills as well as promote motivation and engagement.  This is an exciting opportunity for both schools, and we are looking forward to future collaborations.

Tommy Turtle encourages TLC students to : Try your Best, Listen to each other and Care for everyone.

TLC is officially a Rising New York Road Runners site for the 2019 – 2020 school year.

It is our goal to ensure that our student athletes get the most fun and success possible out of the school’s association with RNYRR.

Amanda Bass, Physical Therapist will once again serve as the coordinator for this program.

The Rising NYRR Pre School Curriculum engages children in activities that prioritize skills through active play.
