Therapy Learning Center encourages evacuee families to register their children in our UPK Program.
As per Chancellor Fariña,
The DOE is ready to assist in enrolling school-age children in the City’s public schools, from pre-kindergarten through high school. For more information, families can call 311, visit the DOE’s “New Students” webpage, or stop by a Family Welcome Center. Family Welcome Centers are open in all five boroughs from Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Early Childhood Outreach team can support families looking for pre-kindergarten and other early childhood options; call (212) 637-8000 for information.
The family guide is a step-by-step guide that details the preschool special education process in family-friendly language. It is a 40 page booklet available on the DOE’s special education webpage in all DOE languages (under Preschool).
