TLC wouldn’t be the vibrant, active learning center that it is without the generous, ongoing support of local companies, organizations and individuals. Your contributions make it possible to provide the supportive, nurturing environment Brooklyn’s children need and deserve.
How You Can Help
TLC welcomes donations and in-kind contributions from individuals, the community, foundations and corporations. Donations may be made in honor of an individual, as a memorial or as a celebration such as a wedding, bar mitzvah, birthday, anniversary or a retirement.
TLC accepts matching gifts from your employer. More than 7,700 parent companies, subsidiaries and corporate foundations currently match their employee’s gift to charitable organizations such as TLC. While procedures vary within companies simply obtain the Matching Gift form from your employer or spouse employer’s human resources office and they should provide you with the gift benefits. Employee matching gifts often are dollar-for-dollar; however some companies will give double or even triple the original donation. Your company may also give matching gifts for employee’s volunteer efforts.
A gift of a stock or other securities (mutual funds or bonds) is another way to contribute to TLC allowing you to avoid paying capital gains tax if you sold the assets. Your life insurance and retirement funds can be earmarked as Therapy and Learning Center as the beneficiary.
A gift of cash is a simple and easy way for you to make a gift. You will receive a charitable tax deduction that will provide you with savings on this year’s tax return. Therapy and Learning Center, Inc. [EIN: 113015277] is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit corporation and all donations are tax deductible as permitted by law.

All donations will be considered unrestricted funds unless otherwise designated in writing. Donations will be used to support both operations, programs, financial assistance and/or equipment.
