Early Drop Off Services (EDO): 8:00-8:30 AM Monday-Friday (RATES TO BE ANNOUNCED)
Late Pick-Up Services (LPU): 2:00-4:00 PM Monday-Friday (RATES TO BE ANNOUNCED)
The school day begins at 8:30 AM. If you arrive prior to that time, the front desk will ask that you wait until 8:25 AM before you may escort your child to his/her classroom. Early Drop Off is also available at 8:00 AM. Families using Early Drop Off will be billed at the same rate as Late Pick-Up ($20.00/hour). Early Drop Off will be provided from 8:00 to 8:30 AM. Please complete and return the enclosed form to indicate your interest in TLC’s Early Drop Off program.
If you arrive after 9:00 AM someone from your child’s classroom will be called to come to the reception desk and escort your child to his/her classroom.
If you need to bring your child in later than 9:00 AM, please call the front desk at (718) 290-2700. You will be connected to an administrator to discuss the time you wish to bring your child into school. Please be aware that significant lateness to the classroom for a child often at times presents difficulties for the child and the classroom team. All children must be in school by 11:00 am daily.
If you are picking up your child at the end of the day, please arrive promptly at 2:00 PM. If your child is scheduled to attend our Late-Pick-Up program, the hours are from 2:00-4:00 PM daily.
If anyone other than yourself or someone noted on the emergency pick-up form is to pick up your child from TLC, we must be informed in writing. A written note in your child’s notebook is acceptable notification. You may also fax a note to us at (718) 290-2800. Please call to notify us that you are faxing pick-up information. Your note must include the date, the person’s full name and that you give permission for the pick up. Please note that this person must be at least 18 years of age and will be asked for identification when they arrive at TLC.
